TEACH Toolkit - Copyright Information
The Technology, Education, and Copyright Harmonization Act (TEACH Act) is now law. TEACH updates copyright law pertaining to transmissions of performances and displays of copyrighted materials. Such transmissions are critical to current higher education distance education efforts, including online courses.


Creative Commons - What is Creative Commons? It is an innovative approach to copyright that gives creators an option for licensing their work. Work licensed under a Creative Commons license still holds the traditional "copyright" rights; however, a work with a Creative Commons license also indicates that the creator has extended more flexible sharing rights.
