An intriguing new product that is free for now! the Jing Project is a download for PC and Mac that seamlessly captures video shots of your desktop with your voice OR captures videos or still images of your screen that you can annotate with text and arrows! The videos/images are automatically uploaded to the Jing server and you are provided instantaneously with a url that you can paste into Blackboard or an email. You can even export the files to a swf file that you can keep on your own computer. Great potential for teaching and learning. Consider this, encourage your students to use Jing to demonstrate concepts or ask questions and then send you the link!

A free, web-based tool that is like an online white board. Click record and proceed with drawing, diagramming or writing on the digital white board. Plug in a microphone and speak while you're creating. When you're done, Sketchcast will provide you with a url that you can plug into Blackboard that will take students to a video of your sketchcast ... including audio! Sketchcast also give you the option to embed the videos in a blog or directly into Blackboard. Pretty slick!

The tool (also known as Elluminate) provides a virtual, synchronous meeting space for participants in multiple locations. Instructors use it for virtual office hours and teach/learn sessions which have the capability of importing images and documents, screen sharing, and instant instant polling.Very powerful tool!
