I'm posting here to see what other faculty honestly think of this discussion forum and the usefulness of the whole idea of having the iTech lab. Frankly as an early technology adopter, having the lab doesn't really impact me because I'm pretty much self taught when it comes to technology. My sense is dollars might be better spent by supporting those of us who adopt technology by providing us with better hardware solutions that we, as early technology adopters, will utilize. A sort of "rewards" driven approach rather than utilizing a "come and learn how to do it method."

Please don't "kill the messenger." Of course that assumes anyone will read this comment and respond. An interesting test indeed and one I suspect will show the relative value of this discussion forum.
